Another little post of appreciation of a good neighbour at Haxby Opticians……

Haxby bakehouse…….

Nothing nicer than when a patient brings the smell of fresh bread into the testing room…… although it can make our stomachs rumble especially before lunch!

Our hearing team looks forward to their days in practice…….. I suspect partly because they love a freshly prepared sandwich which they claim is truly outstanding!

And finally if for nothing else, the random stories that Zoey brings in as she passes our door!

I don’t get down into York as often as I used too but a lunchtime stroll in for afternoon tea at The Old York Tea Room was well worth it.

Fantastic environment with a warm welcome from the owners. We were promised something beautiful and we were certainly not disappointed.

You can tell they are passionate about their work by the elegance and quality of the food they serve.

Can highly recommend to anyone popping into York for an afternoon out.
