A little about my journey…. I’m a twin mum. I struggled during pregnancy with both my physical and mental health. I had postural hypotension, reflux and other digestive issues. I suffered anxiety and bouts of depression. As you can see from the first picture I was physically (and mentally) struggling. What helped me get back…. Well, I went back on my meds (great decision), I got in the nutrition and rest (where I could with twins!!)! I also got help from my friends and family so I could rest. Once my energy was up I began gentle exercise and rekindled my love of Pilates. The rest is history! Thanks to for the advice on their socials. It really helped me to not feel alone.

Reading with a view I’m camping in the Lakes at the moment. The day before we set off, I started with my regular neck/shoulder pain, which progressed into migraine with aura. This went on for 3 days including the day of travel, setting up the tent and the first day here. I think is a combination of stress/muscle tension etc…. I am really interested in expanding my knowledge of somatic movement to assist myself, my work and potentially help others in a similar situation. I watch this space 🙏
