***Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Centre***
NOW OPEN

Building on the success of the Atlas Physio Sports Injury Clinic in York, we recently opened our Neuro Centre specialising in the rehabilitation of both adults and children with acquired brain injuries – due to road accidents or sports injuries, for example – or neurological disorders, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and conditions caused by stroke.
We know ours to be one of very few such neuro rehabilitation centres in the UK.

What makes us different?
We have specialist equipment, much of which has never before been used in the UK but has been used with considerable success in Europe and in the USA.
However, sophisticated equipment alone is not capable of transforming a person’s life – it also takes training, expertise and experience – of the kind that Atlas Physio can offer.

We are pleased to announce that from the beginning of August, Atlas Physio is opening a specialised Neurological Centre.
We are going to provide 1:1 sessions, and also hold many group activities such as:
● Box-ability (aimed at people with physical limitations)
● Balance exercise group
● Strength and conditioning
…to name but a few.

Alongside the specialised neuro equipment, we are going to offer wellness sessions in our fully adapted gym facility; to enable people with any disability or disorder to engage in fitness and exercise.

We currently offer free assessments for neurological conditions, as well as accepting referrals.
