Low forage levels and a bit of sun has meant we have heard lots of farmers considering an early turn out, make sure you have some magnesium products with your livestock to prevent staggers.

We have had reports already of both cattle and sheep having issues where no magnesium has been supplied.

We give the sheep Northern Nutrition Minerals buckets all year round.
The sheep take what they need to get the correct balance of minerals.
Currently all the sheep are well into pregnancy so it is key to ensure they have the right balance, to avoid problems both prior & post lambing.
We put a variety of buckets out, that all have different concentrations of certain vitamins & minerals.
This one is an “Energy Max” bucket to give them a boost when the grass is poor.
We will start hard feed 6weeks prior to their due date to further help with their increased energy requirements.
