December 3rd started like an ordinary day until I got a text, Inspector is here, she will wait till you get here 🫣. They returned on 17th and said I hope to have the report to you by friday otherwise it will be the new year! At 5pm i was working and thought oh well, that's going to be a long wait.
At 7pm I checked my emails and there it was, hands shaking I clicked read report!
5 Green circles that mean the world, when you are as passionate as I am!
Knowing people think highly of our service, residents feel safe and well cared for and families reassured their loved ones are looked after and safe is the best Christmas present I could ask for. I am so very incredibly proud of our fabulous little home, yes, I actually cried a bit 🤣
Well done to the best team!
This will likely be officially published in the new year.

💕🎄 A HUGE thank you 🎄💕

Working in the care sector can often be a thankless role with praise often not given and the negatives being the focus.
Well I like to sing my staff teams praises and think they are all frigging amazing! We are in the midst of an inspection and it is a stressful time of year anyway, but what a team. We have all pulled together to show off our best and that Limetree House is a big family, we squabble, we make up and we laugh hard at times.
Today though I had a little water pouring through my ceiling and left work early to get the leak looked at 🫣
Imagine my surprise to receive a message from one of the girls telling me they'd had a really lovely surprise.
The team have each received a lovely gift from Judy & family to thank them for looking after Jamo, a gift is never needed, a thank you is always enough. We truly appreciate your kindness and Judy's love and care shown to each of us (and her cakes 🤣) We all become family as your loved ones become ours too.
Christmas is coming and the christmas spirit is flowing along with the sherry at Limetree House.
Thank you for recognising my team and all they do, it means the world.
