Another study weekend. Studying is one of the ways in which I relax and unwind, believe it or not. Because I'm not working towards a deadline, there's no pressure, only pleasure π
Unfortunately, like with most things, I have to already be in a relaxed mood in order to feel pulled to studying, which isn't always achievable with the busy life we lead. However, earlier today we went foraging, I love being in the woods ππ² The colours were incredible! It always resets and revitalises me. And if that wasn't enough, I took a flask of the oolong tea I shared in my previous post, because it helps clear the mind and calm the nervous system. Check it out.
These all contributed to achieving a relaxed state that allowed me to do something I enjoy doing (it has the plus that it has a practical application in my work). Sometimes we only make time to do the things we have to do, but what about making time for the things we enjoy doing? Painting, walks in nature, studying, making music, making wood pieces, pottery... Creative stuff is actual medicine with no side effects π
