At this time of year, if youre going to the , it may be more likely that you're doing it because you've been very calorie conscious over the last week or so. Fair play! Tis the season (fa la la la laaaaa....). Maybe you've been to a group fitness class and been sweating out the vino π·.
But.... equally.... maybe you haven't been going because of increased calorie consumption. Maybe you struggle with the festive period - as many people do, and you need a workout in order to feel like your routine is back to normal. Maybe you're struggling with mental health and exercise helps you to manage it. Perhaps you have a medical issue and exercise is helping you to strengthen and deal with your problems.
Don't let calories rule your workout..... especially if they were never a relevance to you in the first place. If you're about to join a gym and your chosen facility is all about calories... but you're all about mental wellness... maybe consider going to a gym that understands that every single person in the facility is different.
