Breaking News!
Starting on Friday 24th October a regular afternoon Games session will be starting at the York Recovery Hub .
This is an old Oaktrees tradition which many folk will have fond memories of.
Now carried forward by the Aspire York team.
Let's all support it?
These sessions will be open to everyone from the community to join in

It’s Stoptober! A month dedicated to supporting anyone who’s ready to quit smoking. Did you know that if you stop smoking for 28 days, you’re five times more likely to quit for good!

It’s much easier to go smoke-free with the right support and help. You aren’t alone on this journey; millions of people have quit smoking with Stoptober.

Our services offer free one-to-one support from our stop smoking advisors, free stop smoking products, and someone to encourage you to keep going.

Let’s quit smoking together this Stoptober.

Freshers' week is traditionally associated with alcohol —but times and expectations have changed a lot. Less than half of young people now drink alcohol every week, resulting in less pressure to drink and a wider range of enjoyable alternatives.

If you don’t want your social life to revolve around alcohol:

🏸 Lots of clubs and associations promote activities such as sports, wellbeing and music.

🍺 There are a growing number of no/low alcohol beers and spirits if you’re spending a lot of time in the student bar.
