Health and Wellbeing Team - Stress Awareness Week 2026 π
Stress Awareness Week is observed every April. It raises awareness of stress, its effects, and how to manage it. This annual initiative empowers individuals and organisations to take practical steps toward healthier, more resilient lives. Each year has a theme that reflects the challenges of the time and inspires action.
Stress affects everyone, influencing physical health, mental wellbeing, relationships, and daily life. Stress Awareness Week encourages:
π Understanding the causes and impacts of stress
π Accessing practical tools and resources
π Opening conversations to reduce stigma
π Building stronger connections and supportive communities

To support this, the Staff Health and Wellbeing Team and the Staff Psychology Team will be at the below venues to offer support, signposting and further information:
Tuesday 21st April 12 noon - 2pm Wellbeing Room, Bridlington Hospital
Wednesday 22nd April 10am β 2pm Pats Place, Scarborough Hospital
Thursday 23rd April 10am β 2pm The Hub, York Hospital
