🌟 Get Moving Monday at Ebor Court! 🌟

We started our morning with Get Moving Monday, enjoying some lovely seated stretches, followed by a fun game of bowling 🎳. One of our resident’s family members brought their dog along and he couldn’t wait to join in with another resident Gill, she absolutely loved playing alongside her four-legged friend 🐶💖 — smiles all round!

This afternoon, we spent time working on our memory book, choosing the perfect quote for the front page. With help from Ann and Maureen, we selected:
✨ “Little moments, big smiles” ✨
We can’t wait to fill it with all our special memories and fulfilled wishes 📖💫

This afternoon our residents enjoyed some brain-training fun, rolling the dice 🎲 and placing coloured pegs into position — a great way to keep minds active while having a giggle along the way 🧠😊

What a wonderful day full of movement, memories, laughter, and meaningful moments 💜

What a wonderful way to welcome the New Year 💛

This morning we enjoyed a fantastic coffee morning, with our family and friends, then our residents shared their New Year’s resolutions with one another, One that really touched our hearts was the wish to be kinder to one another — what a beautiful and meaningful resolution 💫

This afternoon, our Lifestyle Manager Denise treated everyone to a mini New Year’s Eve concert, and what an atmosphere it was! 🎶💃
There was singing, dancing, laughter… and even a few solo performances from our very talented residents ⭐

We even caught our carer Dan singing along! 🎶😊

From all of us at Ebor Court, we wish you a Happy New Year filled with kindness, health, and happiness.

💃🕺 June Loves to Boogie! 🕺💃

At Ebor Court, our wonderful June reminded us all that you’re never too old to dance 💕
With a smile on her face and Trevor woodheads music filling the room, June showed us her love for a good boogie – and it truly lifted the room! 🎶✨

Moments like these are what make Ebor Court so special… joy, laughter, music, and residents doing what they love ❤️

💖 Dreams don’t have an age limit 💖

Our wonderful Eileen once shared with us that when she was younger, she dreamed of becoming a hairdresser ✂️✨ Sadly, life took her in a different direction, as her mum encouraged her to pursue another career.

This Christmas, we wanted to honour that dream 💫 So Eileen was gifted her very own doll’s head, giving her the chance to practise, create, and reconnect with a passion she’s always held close 💇‍♀️💕

And this is just the beginning…
In the New Year, we’re going to make Eileen’s wish of becoming a hairdresser come true 🥰👏

☕🎶 What a lovely day we’ve had at Ebor Court! 🎶☕

We started the day with a cosy coffee morning, coming together to sing some beautiful Christmas carols and soak up the festive spirit. The excitement for Christmas is truly in the air! 🎄❤️

Today was extra special as we also celebrated Audrey’s birthday 🎂🎉 — sharing smiles, laughter and lots of love as she marked her special day with friends.

✨🎄 What a wonderfully busy and heart-warming day we’ve had at Ebor Court 🎄✨

Today was filled with the sound of carol singing, the joy of Christmas movies, and some very special visits from family and loved ones ❤️

We also had the pleasure of celebrating Diana’s birthday 🎂🎉 — a lovely day made even more special with smiles, laughter and togetherness.

From festive songs to cosy moments and birthday celebrations, it’s been one of those days that truly reminds us what this season is all about 💫

✨ What a fantastic day we’ve had at Ebor Court today! ✨

This morning we were delighted to welcome Frida the therapy dog and her lovely owner Charlotte for one last visit before Christmas Day 🐶💙. Everybody absolutely adores Frida – she really is the sweetest little thing, and the smiles she brings are simply priceless.

Today was also a very special day as we celebrated our wonderful resident Ann’s birthday 🎉🎂. I’m sure you’ll agree she looks absolutely fabulous! Anne enjoyed a lovely glass of wine 🍷, a delicious fish and chip lunch 🐟🍟, and this evening she’ll be sharing a fantastic birthday cake with her friends – the perfect way to celebrate.

We’ve also been busy getting well and truly into the Christmas spirit 🎄🎁. There’s been plenty of present wrapping, Christmas movies, colouring, and most importantly, lots of time spent together.

And today had an extra special meaning as our resident Shirley completed her Christmas wish ❤️. A huge thank you to John McGill and Kate Johnson from I Am Reusable Food Bank for coming in to collect the remaining children’s gift donations and a huge Christmas elf as part of Shirley’s Operation Christmas. We are so proud and thrilled to have helped bring Christmas joy to so many children.

We even gave Rachel some flowers to celebrate her birthday!!!

A truly heartwarming day filled with kindness, celebration and togetherness 💫
