🟠 Amber Cold Weather Alert – Yorkshire & the Humber 🟠

An amber cold weather alert has been issued across Yorkshire & the Humber, bringing a higher risk to health during the current period of very cold weather.

At Support Solutions, we’re reminding everyone how important it is to take extra care — especially for older adults, people with long-term health conditions, and those receiving care at home.

Please remember to:
• Keep homes warm and well ventilated
• Dress appropriately when going outdoors
• Check in on neighbours, friends, and family
• Seek support early if someone is struggling in the cold
