1971 - 1982 he worked at Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Therapy of the Ministry of Health of Georgia as a scientific worker of the Department of Infarction.
1982 - 1992 he worked at the State Concern “SAKKURORT” Tbilisi Balneological Resort as Head of Reception Consultative Department.
1992 - 1999 he worked at the Institute of Medical Biotechnology of Georgian Academy of Sciences as a Professor of the division of approbation of new medical preparations. Since 1996 he is elected theAcademician of the Georgian Academy of Sciences of Preventive Medicine and Head of Sector of International Relations.
1999-02 he is a Scientific Secretary of the Georgian Academy of Sciences of Preventive Medicine. Since 2000 he is a FullMember of the New York Academy of Sciences. Since 2002 he is a Chairman of Union of Georgia – Foreign Countries Friendship International Society. Since 2004 he is elected the Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Technical Sciences.
2005-2012 he is theHead of Preventive Cardiology Center “Samkurnalo Kombinati” LTD. Since 2013 he is the Head of Preventive Cardiology Cabinet. In 1978 he defended the candidate’s dissertation on the thesis –“Cardiac Arrhythmias During First Three Days of Myocardial Infarction and Efficiency of Their Treatment”. In 1991 he defended the doctorate dissertation on the thesis – “The Status of Cellular and Gummoral Factors of the Hemostasis under the Angioneurous Stenocardy and Myocardial Infarction of Young Patients”. He has published more than 220 scientific works on the problem of Ischaemic Heart Disease, including 5 monographies and 20 popular scientific brochures. He has delivered his speech at more than 100 scientific conferences, congresses, colloquiums, symposiums, etc dedicated to topical issues of Cardiology. New practical recommendations and inventions for diagnostics, treatment and preventive maintenance of ischaemic heart disease are carried out under his leadership. Hepassed through advanced medical studies in Pharmacotherapy, Electro impulse therapy and Electrocardiography. He has been in well-known clinics and scientific centers of Asia, Europe and America for practical and scientific profile. Based on long-term clinical studies he has developed pharmacologically active, balanced with unique natural ingredients, original combined new paramedical model – “Dioscoridi “ treatment - preventive medicine for Atherosclerosis, Ischaemic heart disease and premature aging. He established the first Preventive Cardiology Cabinet in Georgia, which in terms of its practical - scientific - thematic activities has made some contribution to the prevention – treatment of insidious diseases such as Atherosclerosis and Myocardial Infarction. A number of international scientific, medical, educational and cultural activities have been implemented at his initiative. He is the author of the monograph “Unforgettable President” dedicated to John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, published in Georgian and English languages in 2006. The great monograph “GiorgiSaakadze the Grand Mouravi” is being prepared. For years, he was included in the therapeutic collective of the Republic, he was lecturer of International Scientific-Educational Society, editorial board member of magazine “Georgian Medical New”, Chairman of Scientific Council of Young Scientific Workers of Therapy Institute, member of Georgian Society of Cardiology, Georgian Society of Therapists, Association of Atherosclerosis and International Coenzyme Q10 Association. Has been awarded the title of Cardiologist of the highest category, he was awarded with diplomas, certificates and medals for the best scientific works.His biographical data is included in Medical Encyclopedia of some countries. In 2002 he was named "Person of the Year". In 2006 he was awarded the Gold Medal forremarkable advances in medicine by Russian Academy of Medical Technical Sciences.
