👶 How do babies see before the age of one?

A baby’s vision develops step by step:
🔹 In the first weeks — only blurred silhouettes and a world in shades of gray.
🔹 By 2 months — babies start following toys, contrast perception appears.
🔹 First, they distinguish red-yellow and green colors.
🔹 By 6 months — blue color perception develops.
🔹 By 1 year — a child can orient in space up to 6 meters and coordinate eye and body movements.
