新年快乐! (Happy Chinese New Year!) 🧧🎉

On Wednesday we had a wonderful whole-school activity to celebrate Chinese New Year and cultural diversity. We integrated our Ethics lesson with our school assembly, and students took part in a variety of engaging stations connected to the celebration.

Students:
🏮competed in a chopstick challenge 🥢
🏮enjoyed arts and crafts
🏮practiced and mastered Chinese calligraphy
🏮learned some basic Chinese language
🏮played an exciting bingo game
🏮and even took a short quiz to check their knowledge of Chinese culture

Everyone truly enjoyed the activities, and the atmosphere was full of excitement, learning, and cultural appreciation.✨

Introducing children to different traditions is an essential part of the educational process at EDUHUB. And this Sunday we are preparing a BIG FAMILY SPRING CELEBRATION!

It’s also a wonderful opportunity for families to get to know us better, connect with our community, and truly feel the warm and welcoming EDUHUB atmosphere.

Spring celebrations around the world symbolize renewal, fertility, and the end of winter. Very often, they are also about food — enjoying rich and festive meals before the season of fasting begins. Berikaoba in Georgia, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Carnival in Italy, Baba Marta in Bulgaria, Maslenitsa in Slavic countries — all these celebrations are united by fun games, delicious food, and unique crafts.

WE INVITE YOU TO OUR FAMILY EVENT!
We’ll organize activities for all family members, a little drama performance, and a craft corner. We are also planning to burn an effigy — a truly unique and symbolic experience!

🥞 We are planning to serve hot pancakes and set up tea stations.

📍 EDUHUB Tbilisi International, Didi Dighomi (ask for location via DM)
📅 Sunday, February 22

🎟 Free entry, registration required ➡️ DM please
We’re counting the number of guests to make sure there’s plenty for everyone!

“Finnish education has no rules.”
Have you heard this stereotype?

Yes, Finnish education is known for being humane and child-centred.
But that doesn’t mean no rules at all.

In Finland, rules exist — they are just clear, meaningful and respectful.
There is less pressure, fewer formal tests and more trust in teachers and children.

Discipline is not about fear or punishment.
It’s about responsibility, dialogue and understanding choices.

Children don’t do “whatever they want”.
They learn why rules matter and how to take responsibility for their own learning.

✨ Finnish education is humane not because there are no boundaries,
but because those boundaries support, not suppress.

Education built on trust.
Learning with respect.

On Friday we had an amazing outdoor PE lesson! ❄️🏃‍♂️
Instead of going to the park, we decided to make the most of our snowy hills and the surrounding area. 🔥WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL TERRITORY NEAR EDUHUB BUILDING🔥 Before, we asked students to wear appropriate clothing and be ready for walking in the snow, and they came well prepared.

We walked up the hill, slid down several times, and some students even rolled in the snow — lots of laughter and great energy! After everyone started to feel cold, we returned to school, warmed up, dried off, and enjoyed a short break to sit, relax, and recharge.

Fresh air, movement, and fun made this PE lesson truly special! 😊❄️

Right now, Helsinki is hosting EDUCA — one of the most inspiring and influential education events in Europe 🇫🇮✨

EDUCA is where educators, innovators, researchers, and school leaders come together to talk about the future of education:
🌱 child-centered learning
🌱 teacher autonomy
🌱 well-being at school
🌱 modern tools, methods, and ideas that truly work

And yes — our team is there 🙌
Because EDUHUB Tbilisi is a Finnish-inspired education center, and for us it’s essential to stay connected to the source of this philosophy, mindset, and approach.

We believe that great education is built on trust, curiosity, respect for the child, and continuous professional growth.
That’s why we learn, observe, exchange experiences, and bring the best ideas back to our community.

EDUCA is not just an event.
It’s inspiration, dialogue, and a reminder of why we do what we do 💛
