Domestic abuse can affect anyone, regardless of age or gender. Our community partners play a crucial role in preventing abuse and supporting those affected.
We understand that speaking up can feel overwhelming. You may not feel ready to talk to the police but still want help. Please don’t suffer in silence.
Safer is there to listen, offer support, and help explore your options. Their helpline is available 24/7 on 01481 721999.
There is also a purple mobile phone at Guille-Allès Public Library, Guernsey, available for anyone experiencing domestic abuse to make a free, safe and discreet call. Just ask a member of staff.
If you’ve seen or heard something that doesn’t feel right, you can share your concerns anonymously with Crimestoppers Guernsey on 0800 555 111 or online: http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org/.../person.../domestic-abuse
If you’re worried about abuse, your own or someone else’s, please reach out. You are not alone.
In an emergency, call 999 (you don’t need phone credit).
To speak to an officer, call 01481 222 222.
