World Youth Day Celebration - Accra Archdiocese

The Archdiocese of Accra joyfully celebrated World Youth Day on Friday, 21st November, and Saturday, 22nd November 2025, with this year’s event beautifully hosted by St. Andrew Catholic Church, Kordiabe. The celebration brought together youth from across the Diocese at one venue to worship, learn, connect, and celebrate their faith as one united family.

In support of this important event, St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe deployed a dedicated team of nurses and provided an ambulance to ensure the health and safety of all participants. Our team delivered prompt healthcare assistance and emergency support throughout the two-day program, contributing to a safe and successful celebration.

We are honored to have supported this vibrant gathering of young people and remain committed to serving our community with compassion and excellence.

World Diabetes Day Outreach

As part of activities marking World Diabetes Day, the outreach team of St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe visited Afienya to provide free health services and promote diabetes awareness and prevention. This year’s theme, “Diabetes and Well-being — Breaking Barriers and Bridging Gaps,” inspired our mission to reach more people in need of vital health care.

During the outreach, the team conducted:
✅ Free FBS/RBS checks
✅ Health education on diabetes prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
✅ Medical consultations and guidance on managing blood sugar levels

The event recorded an impressive turnout, with community members expressing appreciation for the opportunity to access essential health checks at no cost.

We express our sincere gratitude to Mega for their generous sponsorship, which made this outreach a success. Our appreciation also goes to the Hon. Assembly Member of the area for his support and warm collaboration in ensuring smooth community engagement.

Customer Service Week Celebration & Community Health Outreach

As part of activities marking the Customer Service and Diabetes Awareness Month, St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe successfully concluded this year’s Customer Service Week under the inspiring theme “Mission Possible.”

Following a week of engaging activities including Breakfast with Clients and a Presentation on Good Customer Care the hospital rounded off the celebration with a community health outreach held today at the Kordiabe–Ashaiman Lorry Station.

The outreach was a collaborative effort led by the General OPD, ENT Unit, and Physiotherapy Department, offering free health screening, health education, and consultation services to the public. The exercise aimed at promoting early detection, preventive care, and healthy living among community members.

The event was well attended, with many participants expressing gratitude for the hospital’s continuous commitment to extending quality healthcare beyond its walls.

St. Andrew Catholic Hospital appreciates all staff who participated in the outreach and remains dedicated to providing compassionate care to every individual because together, Mission Possible is truly achievable!

As part of the Customer Service and Diabetes Awareness Month, St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe successfully marked this year’s Customer Service Week under the inspiring theme “Mission Possible.”

The celebration featured two main activities:
☕ Breakfast with Clients on 10th November 2025, which provided a warm opportunity for staff and clients to interact, share experiences, and strengthen relationships.
🎤 Presentation on Good Customer Care on 11th November 2025, where staff were encouraged to uphold empathy, professionalism, and effective communication in delivering excellent healthcare services.

The hospital extends its heartfelt appreciation to all staff and clients for their active participation and continued commitment to compassionate care. Together, we make “Mission Possible” a daily reality! 🌿

🎉 Children’s Day Celebration at St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe 🎉

As an extension of the World Children’s Day Celebration, St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe organized a fun-filled and impactful event yesterday under the theme “My Day, My Right.”

The hospital joyfully hosted over 70 children together with their parents, making the day memorable through exciting activities, learning sessions, and laughter. The program featured health talks and screenings, games, competitions, prizes, and special attractions, all designed to promote children’s well-being and happiness.

We express our heartfelt appreciation to the following departments for their outstanding contributions during the screening and program:

🦷 Dental Unit
🧪 Laboratory Department
👶 Paediatric Ward – the lead organizing department for this year’s celebration.
