Happy Daffodils has been activated for the Google Ad Grants program. This partnership gives us $10,000 / month in in-kind advertising from Google. This grant will allow us to amplify our voice, reach more supporters globally, and bridge the digital divide for even more children in rural Ghana.
Thank you, Google, for believing in our mission. 🇬🇭🌍

School had officially closed for the day, but the students' curiosity kept them behind. Standing outside the classroom, an unplanned conversation about AI came up.

In this raw, unscripted moment, We introduced the concept of Artificial Intelligence to students of Adaklu Ahunda Kpodzi Basic School who had never heard the term before.

We cannot build an equitable digital future if we leave half the world in the dark. We don't need a perfect computer lab to start; we just need to start.

WHY WE LOVE CHILDREN❗️

MEET OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Kofi Anyetei

Look at this frame. Look at the joy in their eyes!!!

Yesterday, together with our founder, Celly, we took a working trip to Adaklu Ahunda Kpodzi for our project.

Our work here is beyond charity; it’s about dignity. It’s about purpose. It’s about helping these young ones realize who they are - long before the world tells them who they “should” be.

We are here to dignify them beyond the blackboard and the white chalk. We are here to give them the confidence they deserve.

And looking at these smiles? We know their digital futures are in safe hands. 💙💛

This picture from our recent fieldwork at Adaklu Ahunda Kpodzi Basic School breaks our heart. These pupils are being taught ICT on a blackboard.

They have never touched a computer, yet they are expected to compete with their urban peers and pass the same national exams.Everything is based on definitions and rote memorization. No hands-on training. No practical skills.

This is why we want to be the voice for these rural, underserved students. With our first initiative, , we are demanding digital equity. Every child deserves the same opportunities, regardless of their location.

Happy Daffodils is building the first-ever computer lab for the Adaklu Ahunda Kpodzi Basic School. But we need you. We currently have 5 PCs and need 15 more.

How you can help:
If you have a desktop PC you no longer need, please donate it. You can also buy one and get it to us, or support us through our partner supplier who sells a unit for 1,200 GHS.

Let’s change the narrative together.
