GENERAL BREAST CARE AND
TREATMENTS FOR SORE NI***ES

Allow some breast milk to dry on your ni**les. Breast milk contains natural skin softeners and antibodies to fight infection, which can help heal ni**les and keep them healthy.
Let your ni**les air-dry after each feeding. This prevents clothing from sticking to and irritating the breast. Moistening the ni**le helps detach stuck clothing.
Apply modified lanolin or other specially formulated ointments or creams made with hypoallergenic ingredients (such as Lansinoh or Tender Care).
To reduce pain, apply cool compresses to your ni**les after breastfeeding. Gel pads can also be used on dry ni**les.
If your ni**les are very sore, placing breast shields inside your bra to prevent contact between clothes and ni**les may help.
Use proper breast support. Cotton bras with wide, nonelastic straps will help support your breasts without irritating the ni**les. Breastfeeding bras open at each cup to allow breastfeeding and to allow ni**les to air-dry. If it is more comfortable, wear a bra at night for extra support.
If your ni**les are very sore, ask your doctor or lactation consultant to check your baby's tongue for a short frenulum. A short frenulum (which connects the tongue to the bottom of the mouth) can limit the baby's tongue movement and cause pain.
Be sure to contact your doctor or a lactation consultant if you continue to have sore, red ni**les after trying home treatment for a day or two.

Avoid:

Breastfeeding pads that have plastic liners.
Most general-purpose lotions and creams. These are not recommended because their properties have an unknown effect on both your ni**les and your baby.
Washing your ni**les with soap. Soap removes the ni**les' natural lubricants and will dry them out.

Recommended actions for people

The most effective steps individuals can take to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus is to keep a physical distance of at least 1 metre from others; wear a well-fitting mask; open windows to improve ventilation; avoid poorly ventilated or crowded spaces; keep hands clean; cough or sneeze into a bent elbow or tissue; and get vaccinated when it’s their turn.

How to Treat a Cold or Flu When You’re Pregnancy

Pregnancy and the flu
According to research, it’s best to avoid all medications in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. That’s a critical time for the development of your baby’s vital organs. Many doctors also recommend caution after 28 weeks. Speak with your doctor before taking any medication if you’re pregnant or trying to get pregnant. Several medications are considered safe after 12 weeks of pregnancy.
These include:
menthol rub on your chest, temples, and under the nose
nasal strips, which are sticky pads that open congested airways
cough drops or lozenges
acetaminophen (Tylenol) for aches, pains, and fevers
cough suppressant at night
expectorant during the day
plain cough syrup
Get plenty of rest.
Drink a lot of fluids.
Gargle with warm salt water, if you have a sore throat or cough.
If your symptoms worsen, you might want to try:
saline nasal drops and sprays to loosen nasal mucus and soothe inflamed nasal tissue

breathing warm, humid air to help loosen congestion; a facial steamer, hot-mist vaporizer, or even a hot shower can work.

chicken soupTrusted Source, to help relieve inflammation and soothe congestion
adding honey or lemon to a warm cup of decaffeinated tea to relieve a sore throat
using hot and cold packs to alleviate sinus pain. Thanks for your attention.

How to Relieve Breast Pain During Pregnancy

If you are experiencing breast pains, some easy solutions have been proven to work.

There are many simple, over-the-counter painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicines that are perfectly safe to take during pregnancy. Talk to your doctor or midwife about these options.

Change your bra to more comfortable fitted bra
Choose bra without an underwire so that it can adapt to the changes in your breasts.

Try hot and cold compresses, which can encourage better blood flow, reduced inflammation, and faster cell recovery. Use warm compresses when you are experiencing standard soreness or itching, but cold ones when you feel tender or swollen.

Drinking more water and reducing the amount of salt you eat can help reduce water retention. As water retention can make your breasts more swollen and painful.

Avoid foods such as caffeine, soy products, high-fat meals, and unfortunately chocolate which can exacerbate breast pain. You can also attempt stress-relieving methods such as yoga, massage, and meditation since stress can also contribute to the pain.

Thanks for your attention.
