The Homecoming is a yearly charity initiative by Vodafone Ghana Foundation where medical bills of insolvent patients are paid by the Foundation and the patients are reunited with their families after long periods of hospital stay.

In this years Edition, the Vodafone Ghana Foundation partnered with The Medical Reformist to discharge over 350 patients across the 16 regions of Ghana.

The Medical Reformist joined Vodafone Ghana Foundation and Divine Mother and Child Foundation to undertake a medical outreach programme in Adawso Community in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The primary purpose was to provide sustainable healthcare as well as Ultrasound services to Pregnant women in these Communities.

The Rural Ultrasound Scan project has been strategically positioned for maximum impact as we look to examine the wellbeing of unborn babies in the wombs of over 100 pregnant women in Adawso in the heart of the Eastern region of Ghana.

Maternal health is a very important area we pay key attention to in our bid to reduce the rates of maternal mortality and infant mortality in the country.

This further complements the Vodafone Foundation's M-mama Programme to provide emergency transport services to pregnant women in the perinatal period.....
