C.H.I.L.D. & Associates Welcome to C.H.I.L.D (Centre for the Health, Immunization, Learning & Development of Children), Ghana's premiere pediatric and public health centre.

Founded in 2005 by Harvard-based pediatrician Juliette Tuakli, the Centre for the Health, Immunization & Learning Development of Children ("CHILD Accra" for short) has become Accra's premiere pediatric and public health facility. Dr. Tuakli's private practice offers comprehensive pediatric care—including all vaccinations—while her in-house associates offer dermatological and general health care to adults. But as one of Accra's leading advocates for the rights of women and children, Dr. Tuakli wears many hats: pediatrician, policy consultant, professor (and mother of twins). A professor of public health at the University of Ghana, Dr. Tuakli has consulted the government of Ghana and numerous international NGOs on best practices in the fields of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).
