Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to your health! ๐ŸŽ— This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let's empower ourselves and our community.

Early Detection Saves Lives! Regular self-exams and timely screenings are crucial. The sooner breast cancer is detected, the more effective treatment can be.

Timely Diagnosis & Effective Treatment: Don't delay. If you notice any changes, speak to a doctor immediately. Early diagnosis leads to better treatment outcomes and improves the chances of successful recovery.

Ongoing Management, Support & Hope: Breast cancer is a journey that requires continuous care and a strong support system. Remember, you are not alone. There's hope and help available every step of the way.

Let's spread awareness, encourage conversations, and support each other. Your health matters!

Obstetric fistula is a medical condition in which a hole develops between the birth canal and bladder and/or between the birth canal and re**um because of prolonged, obstructed labour without access to timely, high-quality medical treatment.

Prolonged and obstructed labour leads to prolonged pressure on delicate tissues in the vaginal-anal area causing reduced blood flow to the area. This causes death to the cells and further pressure creates the hole.

Obstetric fistula results in women and girls leaking urine, faeces or both, and often leads to chronic medical problems, depression, social isolation and deepening poverty. Obstetric fistula can be corrected via surgery but most women in this condition are not able to access health care due to financial challenges.

For a healthy Pregnancy your meals must be balanced.

Pregnancy is not a time to lose weight nor is it a time to become overweight.

Your meals should consist of balanced diet of protein, fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Sweets and fats should be kept to a minimum.

Fruits and vegetables are healthy snack options. Cut out high sugar beverages and fatty foods, opt for apples, watermelons, bananas, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and other healthy options.
