It is a with a sad and heavy heart we are announcing the passing away of our General Manager Valerie Poku

Valerie was our first recruit at CR Recruit and was highly committed and passionate about her role.

Her passing has been a hard pill for all of us at CR Recruit to swallow.

Due to her passing we will not be working on any new placements until January 2026. Current clients will be contacted directly whilst we make some internal adjustments in the team.

How We Prepare You for Interviews Abroad

Before you have an interview with any of our clients we undertake 2 pre-interview sessions to get you prepared.

First session

We ask basic questions which come up in every interview to get a feeler of your natural composure and way of communication

We ask prompting questions for you to provide elaborative answers and description

At the end of the session we give feedback on areas for improvement and materials to watch to help with the training.

Second Session

We test candidates again with different questions, to ensure candidates are understanding the technique and not memorising the words.

It is important that candidates train themselves in appropriate interview conduct and know how to listen and answer questions directly as it has been asked.

Being a Nurse abroad

We find many registered nurses on the continent prefer to downgrade to work as a Healthcare Assistant to avoid taking the NCLEX exam and taking the IELTS.

At CR Recruit we do not advise our candidates to do this because data shows, Specialised / Registered Nurses are in greater demand.

And whilst IELTS is not a requirement for Healthcare Assistants, you are still required to show speaking and listening skills in English.
