Sante-Afrique currently hosts the Africa Office of the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring whose field name is the Uppsala Monitoring Centre – Africa (UMC-Africa) and the WHO Collaborating Centre for Advocacy and Training in Pharmacovigilance (WHO-CC, Accra). These 2 centers provide a hub for pharmacovigilance activities across Africa including provision of training in general pharmacovigilance, communication and information technology for drug safety monitoring.
