Finance Office Intern
You are to provide financial and administrative support to staff, students and stakeholders of the Institution. You will be required to provide support in the daily operations of the finance department while gaining practical exposure to accounting and financial management.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
2. Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
3. Help with accounts payable and receivable processes
4. Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
5. Assist in audits and compliance checks
6. Perform research and analysis to support financial decision-making
7. Assist in the management of the asset register and ensure regular updates

Routine Tasks
1. Prepare payment vouchers and write cheques for signing off.
2. Present signed cheques to authorized recipients.
3. Reconcile daily, monthly and yearly transactions.
4. Ensure all records for financial transaction are properly kept and filed.
5. Serve as an Invigilator during end of Semester examination, interim assessments and any other examination as needed.
6. Perform any other tasks as directed by the Finance Officer or Director of Finance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
3. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and communication skills
4. Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations

It's a two year pre-degree program. Our admission fee for the entire year is 2,800cedis for males and 3,000cedis for females (Uniform inclusive). We are located in Accra-Kasoa (Blue Top Estate).
