LET THE SILENCE NOT BE THE LEGAGY

In the quiet of a lab that once thrummed,
White coats stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder, un‑numbed.
Their eyes hold the glow of a thousand tests,
Dreams of a nation’s health they’ve vested.

From Accra’s bustling streets to the Volta’s tide,
They’ve chased invisible foes, let truth be spied.
Yet doors stay closed, the silence grows loud,
A chorus of hope, refusing to bow.

Let the world hear their steady refrain,
“Give us the chance to heal, to explain.”
For Ghana’s future rests in each careful slide
Employ the guardians, let their work RIDE. LET GHANA BENEFIT FROM THEIR TRAINING.

Again, let it not be said that your SILENCE is the LEGACY.
Lab pros = healthier Ghana.

THE SILENCE MAY BE THE LEGACY OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

In the hush of a lab that once sang,
White coats gather, voices rang
“Give us a chance, let our work speak,”
They chant, their hopes a steady beak.

From the coast of Cape Three points to the North’s high plain with many shear trees,
Their microscopes wait, their data in vain.
No call from the ministry, no desk to claim,
Just empty benches, a silent flame.

Yet every drop they’ve counted, every slide they’ve seen,
Is a promise of health that the nation’s keen.
Let Ghana hear the rhythm of their plea,
And turn their struggle into destiny.
The silence is becoming a legacy if they remained UNEMPLOYED.

Lab pros = healthier Ghana.

LET THE SILENCE NOT BECOME A LEGACY

In the quiet halls where microscopes once sang,
Dreams of diagnosis now gather dust,
Ghana’s bright minds, in lab coats, stand still
Unseen, unheard, their purpose hushed.

From Accra’s streets to the Volta’s tide,
They’ve chased the invisible, caught the unseen,
Yet every sunrise finds them waiting,
For a call that never comes.

Their hands, once steady, now tremble with hope,
A nation’s health rests on their silent skill,
But government doors stay closed,
Leaving hearts heavy, futures dim.

We weep for the science left in the shadows,
For the patients who wait for a name,
For a country that forgets its own,
When the lab lights go out, the darkness grows.

Let their cries rise like a PCR peak,
Let the world hear the rhythm of their plea
Employ the guardians of truth,
Before the silence becomes our legacy.

Employment of the useful medical laboratory scientists to support the primary healthcare policy of the government cannot be a option but a necessity.

If we really meant to improve the primary healthcare sector as a country then we need to bring everyone on board.

The Ministry of Health health must show commitment by giving a clear pathway to employ the medical laboratory science professionals wasting at home.

Lab pros = healthier Ghana.

As Ghana strides towards achieving primary healthcare for all, the role of Medical Laboratory Scientists cannot be overstated! 🇬🇭💉

We've been left behind for too long. Since 2019, the government has shown little interest in solving our unemployment crisis. But we have a new government now, and it's time for a new story!

Ghana needs Medical Laboratory Scientists at all levels of care - from CHPS compound, health centers, district hospitals to teaching hospitals. We are not just medical laboratory scientists, we are disease detectives, researchers, and public health guardians!

Let's hold our government accountable! Employ Medical Laboratory Scientists NOW!

Let get it right!

Calling on the Ministry of Health Ghana to prioritize the employment of Medical Laboratory Scientists in Ghana's healthcare system! 🇬🇭💉

These highly skilled professionals play a crucial role in disease diagnosis, research, and public health. Yet, many remain unemployed or underutilized.

Today's healthcare is evidence based. Over 70 percent of the evidence comes from the medical laboratory scientists.

We are not an option but important part of the healthcare system. Let not gamble. Let get it right.

EMPLOY OUR COLLEAGUES AT HOME!

It must be on record that without the medical laboratory scientists and a well functioning medical laboratory system, we cannot end mother to child transmission of HIV.

If the Ministry of Gender is celebrating successes in the area of HIV mother to child transmission, a medical laboratory scientist risked his life for that success.

The evidence is clear. We risk our lives to test Early Infant Diagnosis of HIV and Viral loads to secure lives.

The government needs us to ensure all these policies reflects on the ground.

Lab pros = healthier Ghana.

Let get it right. We cannot be ignored and expect a robust primary healthcare.

EMPLOY OUR COLLEAGUES NOW!

Well done HeFRA

In the political leadership drive to END TB, the medical laboratory scientists must be seen a vital contributor. We cannot accelerate the fight to END TB without medical laboratories. EMPLOYMENT OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS IS PART OF THAT POLITICAL LEADERSHIP.

The facts speaks for itself.
Let get it right! Ministry of Health John Dramani Mahama
