OUTREACH NURSES Responsibilities

The outreach team will visit
ADENTA
MADINA
ABLEKUMA ,
POKUASE,
EAST LEGON
AMASAMAN

with other local nurses and offer required health services to the locals. You will visit the local’s homes, shops , offices and screen them , and refer critical cases to the nearest hospital. Your major roles and responsibilities include:

Door to door visits
Checking the blood pressure in each household and documenting

Referring patients with high blood pressure to the nearest hospital
Performing basic first aid activities such as cleaning and dressing sores
Educating members

Basic Health Care Knowledge.
Accurate Knowledge on Blood Pressure Readings
Knowledge in the use of the Blood Pressure Machine, Thermometer and Stethoscope.

Monthly Salary negotiable plus DAILY allowances and commissions

The outreach nurse/marketers will visit various ABLEKUMA , POKUASE, AMASAMAN with other local nurses and offer required health services to the locals. You will visit the local’s homes and screen them for free, and refer critical cases to the nearest hospital. Your major roles and responsibilities include:

Door to door visits
Checking the blood pressure in each household and documenting

Referring patients with high blood pressure to the nearest hospital
Performing basic first aid activities such as cleaning and dressing sores
Educating members of each household on the dangers of high blood pressure, hygiene, water and sanitation, washing of hands, family planning, malaria, sexual and reproductive health, oral hygiene.
Distributing condoms, treated mosquito nets, worm expellers, toothbrushes, toothpastes etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

We encourage NURSES with background in healthcare to apply for this program. If you do not have medical background and still want to contribute to this program, you can work as AIDES and help the mobile nurses in documentin:
