Your eye drops are not necessarily meant for your two eyes. It may be meant for both or for either the right or left eye. Always ask your eye doctor when and which of your eyes you are to apply your eye drops. Happy New month!

I've been asked several times by my clients/patients whether a human eye which does not see can be replaced by a cat eye.
The answer is NO! As it stands now, there's no medical or technological breakthrough that will make such a procedure possible. Transplanting a whole eye is not possible because the eye as a sensory organ for sight is connected to the brain by millions of nerves which when cut cannot be reconnected and loses its sensitivity. As much as we know kidney, heart or liver transplant is done across the world, an eye transplant will not come easy.
The only way to care for your eyes is to visit your eye doctor regularly for early detection of potential sight threatening conditions. We can continue to hope that through medical science and technology sight can be restored for those who have lost it in future . For now we only have to have regular eye checks with our eye doctor.

Good vision is very essential for driving.
Kindly inform the DVLA of any changes in the way you see or any medical condition you develop for them to assess with the help of medical advice whether you are fit to drive. Having poor vision and other health issues could pose a threat to other road users and not only you. Be on the watch out for drivers with poor vision as a road user; your safety should be in your own hands. 🇬🇭
