My Mom as a child actress playing lead in an Efua Sutherland film, as photographed by Willis E. Bell. Circa 1967. There’s currently a powerful photo exhibition of Ghana in the 1950’s through to the 1970’s as seen from the lens of Willis Bell who is undoubtedly one of the most prolific photographers of Ghana. The exhibition is open daily till Dec 20 Mmofra Place in Dzorwulu . The digital archives available online are also quite vast and stunning. A must see.
