The De Heus Poultry Workshop in Jamasi was a remarkable gathering of poultry farmers, industry stakeholders, and partners committed to advancing sustainable poultry production in Ghana.
A key highlight of the event was the address by our General Manager Alexander Peeters, who shared insights into the present performance and strategic future direction of De Heus Ghana. He reaffirmed our commitment to supporting farmers with high-quality nutrition, technical expertise, and innovative solutions that drive productivity and profitability. His message focused on partnership, progress, and our long-term vision to strengthen Ghana’s poultry sector.
Our technical sessions delivered practical, actionable knowledge:
🔹our Farm Technical Advisor Agyei ASUMANG-OWUSU led an engaging session on Biosecurity, emphasizing the importance of farm protection measures in reducing disease risks, improving flock health, and safeguarding farmers’ investments.
🔹Maxwell Anom presented on Smart Water Management, highlighting how proper water quality, hygiene, and system management directly impact bird performance, feed efficiency, and overall returns.
The interactive discussions and farmer participation demonstrated the growing commitment to adopting best practices that enhance farm productivity and sustainability.
At De Heus, we remain dedicated to empowering farmers with knowledge, innovation, and reliable nutrition solutions.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made the Jamasi workshop a success. Together, we are powering progress in poultry production.
