Working Together for Safer Healthcare in The Gambia

We are proud to share an inspiring story of dedication and impact. A former student who once completed an internship with our team has launched a fundraising campaign to support infection prevention at our facility — and this July, they will return to continue this vital mission in person.

Strong infection-control measures save lives. From proper sterilization and protective equipment to hygiene training for staff, every improvement helps create a safer environment for patients, families, and healthcare workers alike. Thanks to this incredible initiative, we are taking meaningful steps toward strengthening these essential systems and raising the standard of care in our community.

This effort reflects what healthcare is truly about: partnership, commitment, and compassion across borders. We are deeply grateful for this support and for everyone contributing to a healthier future for The Gambia.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our Gynecology Outpatient Clinic starting Thursday afternoon, 29 January.

Women experiencing health concerns in this area are warmly invited to attend for a confidential, professional, and compassionate consultation.

Our gynecologist is available to provide assessment, advice, and treatment for conditions such as:
• menstrual disorders
• pelvic or abdominal pain
• pregnancy concerns
• menopause-related symptoms
• infections
• and other gynecological issues
