Dr Ilia (Iliostalakti) Kontou.

- Member of the Hellenic Association of Homeopathic Medicine since 1994, disciple of George Vithoulkas (laureate of Nobel Right Livelihood Award 1996), personal student of Dr Vassilis Gekas. Homeopathic medicines are in use since 1796 and never there have been occurred side effects or poisoning and this is the main reason why Dr Kontou choose to study Homeopathy.

-Her speciality is General & Family Medicine, residency from the General & Regional Hospital of Patras "Agios Andreas" in 1996

- She co-worked for many years with the deceased pshycologist Charitini Papakyrillou (personal student of Bert Hellinger) studying the combination of Homeopathy and Family constellation and this collaboration gave excellent results even in so called "hopeless" medical cases, such as autism, multiple sclerosis, etc. Material from this collaboration is going to be published in a book.

-She translated in the greek language the book by Bert Hellinger "Paths of Love"

- She studied Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) & EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and uses them in her everyday praxis with great success.

-She studied painting at the Fine Arts Department of the Municipality of Patra from 2000 - 2006 under the supervision of Thanassis Makris and has participated in group exhibitions in Patra in Palissandros gallery. She uses painting in seminars as a therapeutic tool.

- From January 2012 to May 2015 she gave lectures to the public as a volunteer under the title "Health and Prevention" within the Filotechniki Amaliada initiative http://filotexniki.weebly.com/, explaining in a simple language basic principles of the preventive medicine to her students. The lectures had a phenomenal success, as more than 80% of her students said that after 12hours of lectures they had been cured from chronic problems, such as insomnia, stress, chronic fatique, migraines,etc

- Since March 2014 she facilitates her own Abundance seminars and Systemic Constellation workshops.

-From December 2015 a new course for the 7 Energy Centers of the body is running at the clinic, where each month we focus on an energy center and solve blockages that may exist with special techniques and in this way we allow the cells operating in this area of the body to function in optimal health. The courses do not substitute medical examination and proper diagnosis.

Many of us live under the medical myth that the heart is only a pump, an idea borne of an industrialised culture that views the body as a machine.

The heart however is so much more beautiful and fascinating than we ever could have imagined!

So how does the blood move around the labyrinth-like vessels of our body?

It moves of its own accord.

You see, blood flow is not a simple stream like we once thought.

It is in fact composed of two streams, spiralling around each other much like the image of a DNA double helix, at the centre of which is a vacuum.

How cool is that?

This spiral dance is not only found in the bloodstream, but also in the blood cell itself!

Blood cells in fact spin on their own individual axes of rotation. They are smaller spinning cells in a larger spinning vortex.

If your mind is not blown yet, let’s go back to the heart.

The heart itself has recently been discovered not to be a mass of muscle, but rather a ‘helicoidal myocardial band’ that has spiralled in upon itself, creating its unique shape and its separate chambers.

This is called the Helical Heart, and you can see doctors unravel it by searching ‘Helical Heart’ on Youtube.

Pair this with discoveries that the heart functions as an endocrine gland, has its own nervous system that makes and releases its own neurotransmitters, and emits an electromagnetic field that is far stronger than the brain’s, and we begin to move from the idea that the heart is simply a mechanical pump.

It is a spiralling organ of perception.

If that’s not beautiful, we don’t know what is.
