Spring on the mountain 🌿

One of my favorite spring rituals here in Kefalonia is hunting for wild mountain greens. In Chinese Medicine, spring is the season of the Liver, and these bitter greens are exactly what the body needs after winter.

Have you ever noticed how the weather makes your body feel?

Lord, Mary, and Joseph I need this moment right now! SUNLIGHT! Now I am not one to complain about the weather, but we have been absolutely battered with rain. I am a damp body composition as it is so to add so much dampness on the outside has made me incredibly uncomfortable. I am feeling softer, fluffier and heavy. Not heavy as a rock, but full of liquid heavy. Like you have taken the clothes out of the wash, but the machine hasn't spun them.
