Honored to be part of the SRS LEAD Cohort 2025–2026 and thankful for such a meaningful experience so far. Beyond the educational value of this leadership program and the IMAST Meeting, I have especially appreciated the opportunity to connect with the other members of the cohort. It is also a great personal and professional honor to be the first physiotherapist selected for this program.

I am also especially grateful for the opportunity to share wonderful personal moments, including dinner and meaningful conversations with the SRS Presidential Line and distinguished spine surgeons from around the world. These moments of connection, generosity, and shared vision made this experience even more memorable.

I sincerely thank the Scoliosis Research Society for this opportunity, and I look forward with great excitement to continuing this journey at the Annual Meeting in Sydney.

📢 We are excited to announce the first ever PSSE-Schroth course in Taiwan 🇹🇼

📌 For the first time, the PSSE-Schroth method by Nikos Karavidas will be taught in Taichung, Taiwan, giving local professionals the opportunity to join our internationally recognized scoliosis-specific education program.

📣 We are proud to share our new publication on “Tele-scoliosis-screening and treat protocol: A hybrid in-person and online approach for scoliosis treatment in remote patients.”

📌 This study highlights how Schroth Scoliosis & Spine Clinic is pioneering a hybrid model of scoliosis care, combining specialized in-person treatment with structured online follow-up for patients who face geographical and travel barriers.

📌 The results showed better exercise compliance, lower loss to follow-up, and better overall treatment outcomes compared with in-person care alone. This is an important step toward making high-quality scoliosis treatment more accessible without compromising effectiveness.

During the last three days, we successfully delivered multiple PSSE–Schroth Basic courses, continuing our mission to expand evidence-based scoliosis rehabilitation worldwide.

A particularly important milestone for us was the first ever PSSE–Schroth courses in China and Indonesia. Expanding scoliosis-specific exercise education to new regions of the world is a crucial step toward improving access to evidence-based conservative scoliosis treatment and supporting physiotherapists who want to specialize in this field.

✨ Honored to participate in the International Conference “Scoliosis Day” in Brazil 🇧🇷, bringing together clinicians and researchers dedicated to advancing the non-operative management of spinal deformities.

📚 During the conference, I will present my lecture titled:

“Advancing Non-Operative Scoliosis Care through a PSSE-Schroth Algorithm-Based Classification.”

🎯 The lecture will focus on how a structured, algorithm-based classification can support clinical decision-making, improve individualized exercise prescription, and contribute to more consistent and effective scoliosis rehabilitation.

👉 We are also very excited about the growing interest from colleagues in Brazil and we hope that PSSE-Schroth educational courses will soon become available in Brazil, supporting more clinicians in developing specialized skills in scoliosis rehabilitation.

📌 Looking forward to connecting with the Brazilian community and contributing to the advancement of conservative scoliosis care.
