✅ From London and the inspiring atmosphere of the BSS & NSDS Meeting, I traveled directly to Thessaloniki for the International Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery Conference, continuing a truly rich week of scientific exchange and collaboration.

👉 Today I had the pleasure of contributing to the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Spinal Pathology session with my presentation:
“Schroth Method for Scoliosis.”

🎯 It was an honour to share the principles, evidence, and clinical applications of PSSE-Schroth within a meeting primarily dedicated to minimally invasive surgical techniques—highlighting how modern physiotherapy and surgical innovation can complement each other in the management of spinal deformities.

🙏 A warm thank you to the organizing committee for the invitation, and to all colleagues who attended and engaged in meaningful discussions about the role of physiotherapy in the contemporary spine-care continuum.

📌 I’m deeply honoured to be an Invited Lecturer at this year’s EUROSPINE Pre-Day Course, presenting on “Physiotherapy for Acute and Chronic Low Back Pain.”

🎯 Low back pain remains one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. Its management cannot rely on one discipline alone — it requires an interdisciplinary approach, bringing together physiotherapists, spine surgeons, pain specialists, and researchers for comprehensive patient care.

🧠 Physiotherapy plays a central role — not as an isolated treatment, but as part of an evidence-based, biopsychosocial model that integrates movement, education, and active patient participation to promote long-term recovery and resilience.

🌏 PSSE-Schroth Level 1 — Perth, Australia 🇦🇺

📍We’ve just completed our very first PSSE-Schroth Level 1 course in Australia, and what an inspiring start it was!

🙌 Over the past 6 days, 11 dedicated therapists joined us in Perth to deepen their knowledge of evidence-based, non-operative scoliosis care. What made this group truly special was not only their passion, but also their high level of experience — many of them already certified in other PSSE schools and bringing years of clinical expertise into our shared learning environment.

📚 Together, we explored the principles of the PSSE-Schroth method by Nikos Karavidas, connected science with clinical practice, and built a strong foundation for advancing scoliosis treatment across Australia and beyond. 🇦🇺🌍

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their openness, curiosity, and commitment to improving patient care. And a special thanks to Lisa Marie Zorzi, owner of Perth Scoliosis, for so warmly hosting this course and contributing to its success. Your support and collaboration were invaluable!

✅ Today I had the pleasure to lecture on Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis Specific Exercises (PSSE) during Module 6 – Spinal Deformities: Scoliosis during growth and other deformities across the life course, as part of the EUROSPINE Diploma in Interprofessional Care (EDISC) program.

👉 It was truly inspiring to be part of such an interdisciplinary international team, alongside distinguished colleagues led by Dr. Fabio Zaina and the EUROSPINE faculty. 🙏

👉 This recognition is not just about us—it is about protecting integrity, evidence-based physiotherapy, and the right of patients and professionals worldwide to access authentic, innovative, and scientifically grounded scoliosis care.

🎯 Yet, despite this legitimacy, we have faced unfair and unethical attacks ever since 2022, when we officially launched our educational courses. Instead of collaboration and respect, we were targeted with threats and misinformation.

📌 We have stayed silent for a long time, focusing instead on our mission: promoting the role of non-operative scoliosis treatment and supporting patients and professionals worldwide.
