We often chase wellness by adding — more routines, more supplements, more doing.
But what if true restoration begins with subtraction?
With silence, darkness, and surrender?
Sleep is not the absence of life — it’s the foundation of it.
During deep rest, your body doesn’t shut down; it recalibrates.
Neurons reorganize memories, cells repair microscopic injuries, and hormones reset the rhythm of your physiology.
Every night, you are offered a chance to return to balance.
In my practice and in my book Return to Function, I explore this truth:
That health isn’t about pushing harder, but allowing the body to do what it’s designed to do — heal.
To wake up fully, you must first learn to sleep deeply.
To live consciously, you must first rest intentionally.
So tonight, don’t just fall asleep —
rise into restoration.
Wake up to sleep again. 🌙
