The Antahkarana Bridge:
Step 1 - Understanding the lower and the higher
There is a lower and a higher self in you.
The lower self is the one that gets you into trouble each day!
It constantly wants more, it growls and nags and complains about everything that is not comfortable.
It is never completely satisfied, always looking for the next thing to do or take that will make it feel better - for a while.
And then off it goes for the next fix, the next love, the next car, the next town, country, planet that would perhaps make it feel better...
It is pretty sensitive, its attention span is 3 seconds, goes from one thought to another and it generally drives you crazy!
And there is the higher self.
Always steady. Secure. Blissful.
Full of joy and gratitude and happiness and love.
Always safe and majestic. Always full.
Never in need, always happy to give!
Everlasting, always were, always will be.
And it is within you. You ARE it!
This is why you meditate daily, to build this bridge.
And through this bridge that you will gradually build,
your Antahkarana,
you will connect them both.
We are building the slow and steady.
