My name is Tara and I am so happy to have you be a part of this community! I have over 25 years experience practicing yoga and became a qualified teacher in 2018. I am a passionate and attentive teacher, inspiring and guiding people through their own yoga journey in a fun, safe and welcoming space. I offer a holistic approach, combining the ancient traditional practices of asana (postures), meditation and yoga philosophy with modern day application. This is so you will learn the right tools that work for you, at a time that is right for you in your day to day life. Every body is different, so therefore everybody's journey is different. This is why I will always encourage to listen to tune in to what your own body needs and work at a pace that suits you. Don't worry, I’ll help you understand how to tune in and to discover what it is that feels good for you. This way, you can learn to experience more calm and contentment outside of the classes, as well as during them! Along with the many (now well-known) physical benefits of practicing yoga, the mindful classes I teach will help to improve your interoception, allowing you to regulate your own nervous system during times of high stress and anxiety.

Wednesday 19th Nov – Live Zoom Class (approx 7pm GMT)
A 60-minute live session to prepare for our journey together.
Hatha Yoga & Mindset Talk
You’ll learn why practicing at home is so powerful, how to set yourself up for success and how to get the most from your weekend retreat.
Think of it as your warm-up for what’s to come.



✨ Weekend Retreat Sessions – Saturday & Sunday
Four live sessions across the weekend to help you release, realign and remember your light.



Weekend 22nd-23rd November

Morning Practices (Sat & Sun approx 10am GMT)
Fun yoga flows to awaken and balance your energy.
Accessible for all levels, designed to connect you back to your body and breath.



Evening Workshops (Sat & Sun approx 6pm GMT)
Soothing yoga and guided reflection to unwind and reconnect.
Each evening has a different focus:

Saturday – Reflect & Release
A time to reflect on the past year and gently let go of any hurt, guilt, shame or unhelpful thoughts/beliefs/habits
Includes:
🌿 Gentle yoga to release tension in body and mind
🌿 Guided journaling for reflection and forgiveness
🌿 Yoga Nidra for deep rest and renewal
🌿 A downloadable workbook and audio for continued release.

Sunday – Align and Begin
A space to celebrate all that you are now, set clear intentions for who you are becoming and align with what truly matters to you.
Includes:
🌞 Reflective journaling to clarify your end of 2025 and new year vision
🌞 Yoga Nidra to plant seeds of new possibility
🌞 Practices to build momentum and energy for lasting change

All sessions are live on Zoom with replays available so you can revisit anytime.

This mudrā connects you to Earth’s energy, promotes stability and security and is an excellent tool for balancing energies when feeling ungrounded or stressed/anxious.

Instructions
* Sit in a comfortable meditation position. (You can also practice while standing in tadasana - mountain pose).
* Touch the top of the ring finger to the thumb. Keep your other three fingers extended and relaxed.
* Rest your hands on your knees or thighs if you're seated. With the palms up.
* Try with this breathing practice - Inhale deeply through the nose, visualising the grounding energy of the earth rising through your body. Exhale slowly, feeling the earth’s stability infuse your being.
* Practice 5 - 15 mins

I’m adding a little more sweetness to my weekly Relaxing Yoga class.
We’ll journey through the 5 Master Elements which are a beautiful part of Yoga & Ayurveda.

They show us how to stay healthy and balanced both on and off the mat, and give us a language to better understand how we’re felling.

Each week, we’ll explore one element through gentle movement, mindful stretches, breath-work, mudra (hand gestures that channel/direct energy) and yoga nidra.

As well as deeply rested and relaxed you’ll leave feeling:

🌱 Grounded and supported (Earth)

💦 Fluid and open (Water)


🔥 Warm and re-energised (Fire)

💨 Light and easeful (Air)

🖤 Spacious and connected (Space)

Welcome to Warrior Heart Yoga. My name is Tara and I have a huge passion for Yoga, Meditation and Martial Arts and I am very excited to share this passion with you. I have practised Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow for almost 20 years and became a qualified teacher in 2018. During my time in London I was very blessed to have the opportunity to train under Shifu Yanzi, a 34th generation Shaolin fighting disciple, who founded Shaolin Temple UK. My background in Kung Fu and Qi Gong has really inspired me to help others connect with their own inner power and confidence.

As well as group classes I also teach private One to One classes in my home or yours. I love to help people discover the beautiful magic of the yoga practice and reclaim their physical and mental strength.

Classes are all Hatha and Vinyasa based and suitable for all abilities.
