🦋✨Kimberely's Experience: Wonders to Behold ✨🦋
"I've had my share of adventure injuries and struggle with neck and back pain fairly often. Fortunately. there is a method of therapy that is simple, non-intrusive and inexpensive- that supports my body's expression of transformation: craniosacral therapy. I can't say enough good things about it, partly because I spent so long on the wheel of western medicine, with its insurance schemes and lack of knowledge about the human energy system.
Today, Ageliki Papadopoulou gave me a session. She tuned in to my body's natural rhythms and flows. She gently held the base of my spine and back of my head as the energetic motion and fluids circulated and "came together". She used soft touch techniques to allow the shoulders, clavicle, and areas in the throat to reposition, roll, readjust, sink down and open. Bones in my skull, jaw, mandible and face twisted, knocked, and popped on their own- as she closely followed these motions with her awareness. With experience, intuition and attention, she provided just the right amount of time in each area, in perfect sequence that supported releasing, and used incredible skillfulness when addressing "stuck" areas.
Ageliki used a technique of holding the two front teeth to correct a torsion pattern inside my head! Once it realigned, a huge release of lower belly tension opened and I was all smiles, full of light, brimming with joy and gratitude. Finally!!! Relief from the neck pain!!!
Here's the kicker- western medicine doesn't buy in to the fact that the skull and facial bones move--- even though we use dental braces! But our skull IS moving and articulating, and all those fluids, neurons, molecules and electricity (around the brain and spinal sac) is communicating with all of the other body systems in the body. Old injuries DO impact how the head and spine are talking to the other body parts. My view is that surgical intervention, braces, sports injuries- all play a role in creating disruptions in the energetic flows, sometimes causing restrictions in the body's overall rhythm - and we label these disruptions and blockages "pain", "illness", "addiction", "sleep disturbance" or "depression".
Ageliki's training allows her to perceive and follow these motions, never pushing or directing or trying to "fix" or "change" or "heal" - but instead, she gave space and intuitive "prescence" for what Kimberly's body needed at a specific point in time.
And that's always changing.
Thank you Ageliki for not having any plans or programs, for not putting me in a treatment box of pills and surgery, for your dedication to your work and to others...... supporting my body's transitions, journey, and change. Thank you, thank you, thank you! "
