✨ 4 Yoga Stretches for Stiff Shoulders & Upper Back ✨
If you’ve been feeling tight from long hours at a desk or training, try these simple block-based drills to melt tension and open your upper body:
1️⃣ Elbows on Blocks
Place your elbows on blocks, palms together, and gently sink your chest down. A deep opener for shoulders + lats.
2️⃣ Hands on Blocks (Extended Puppy Variation)
Lift the hands onto blocks and reach forward. This creates more space to lengthen the upper back without pressure.
3️⃣ Blocks Under the Thoracic Spine
Lie back with 1–2 blocks under the upper spine. Let your chest open and breathe into the stretch—amazing for posture and mobility.
4️⃣ Scorpion Variation with Block
From an elbow-bridge position, hold a block as you rotate into a scorpion pose variation. A juicy stretch for the chest, shoulders, and spine.
