Dr. Rolf G.Behrents, our orthodontic father, program director, mentor, and friend, passed away yesterday.
One of the brightest academic minds in the history of our field, a charismatic leader, a great man.
We were truly blessed to cross paths with Dr. Behrents and study under his guidance.
Beyond academics, we were even luckier to meet and build life-long ties with his wonderful family, his greatest legacy.
They welcomed us into their home and treated us as their own, when we were thousands of miles away from our home and supported us during our most difficult time - our mother's illness.
We are devastated by the news of Buzz's passing and forever grateful for the way he changed our lives, as he did with so many of his students.
May he rest in peace.
