Healing doesn’t always look the way we imagine it.
It’s not only about insight or strength — sometimes it’s about resting, allowing, or finding safety again.

Some days, healing means setting a boundary.
Other days, it means softening one.

In therapy, I often witness how change begins quietly — with awareness, a breath, a small act of self-kindness.

Maybe healing today looks like connection.
Or compassion.
Or simply noticing that something inside you is ready to move again. 🌿

Η Ανώτερη Επαγγελματική Σχολή Χορού του Ωδείου Αθηνών υλοποιώντας το πρόγραμμα του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού “Πιλοτικές Δράσεις Πολιτιστικής Συνταγογράφησης" για την ανάδειξη της τέχνης ως συμπληρωματικής αγωγής στην ψυχική υγεία και σε συνεργασία με το “Ερευνητικό Πανεπιστημιακό Ινστιτούτο Ψυχικής Υγείας Κώστας Στεφανής”, πραγματοποιεί το εργαστήρι χορού “Τα θαύματα του σώματος”.

Η δράση απευθύνεται:
- σε γυναίκες επιζώσες έμφυλης βίας 18 έως 65 ετών
- σε ανθρώπους άνω των 50 ετών με ήπια κατάθλιψη

Η συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα είναι δωρεάν.

🗓️ Η δράση θα υλοποιηθεί σε δύο τρίμηνους κύκλους Σεπτέμβριος - Οκτώβριος - Νοέμβριος 2025 και Δεκέμβριος 2025 - Ιανουάριος - Φεβρουάριος 2026.

🗓️ Yποβολή αιτήσεων από φορείς, επαγγελματίες ψυχικής υγείας αλλά και ιδιώτες: τελευταίες δηλώσεις συμμετοχής δεκτές έως και 8 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025.

Dance movement therapy is not performance.
It’s not about how you look.
It’s about how you feel — and what you’ve never had the chance to express.

In the therapy space, movement becomes permission.
To shift. To tremble. To stretch. To breathe.
To move the sadness, the tension, the memory, the shame.

The body doesn’t ask you to perform.
It asks you to show up — just as you are.

The body doesn’t break overnight.
It gives signs. Small ones. Quiet ones.

A tension in your jaw.
The breath you didn’t even know you were holding.
The weight on your chest that only shows up in stillness.

These are not random.
They are whispers — early messages from your body, trying to tell you something.

But when we ignore them, we force the body to speak louder.
It tightens, stiffens, withdraws, hurts.
Until finally, it screams — in anxiety, fatigue, burnout, or illness.

Somatic therapy is not about “fixing.”
It’s about listening — early.
Listening with kindness, curiosity, and presence.
