Η πλαστικός χειρουργός Βίλλυ Ροδοπούλου αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών το 1992. Συνέχισε την εκπαίδευσή της στη γενική χειρουργική στην 1η Πανεπιστημιακή Χειρουργική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ακολούθως και με χορήγηση υποτροφίας, ειδικεύθηκε στην επανορθωτική και αισθητική χειρουργική στο Cook County Hospital και στο University of Illinois Medical Center του Σικάγο. Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδίκευσή της στο Γενικό Κρατικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών. Έλαβε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας το 2001 και ακολούθως, κατόπιν επιτυχών εξετάσεων, και αυτόν της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής Πλαστικής Χειρουργικής ( European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery). Ο τίτλος αυτός έχει ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα στο εξωτερικό, αφού περιορισμένος αριθμός Ευρωπαίων γιατρών τον κατέχουν.

Η Δρ. Βίλλυ Ροδοπούλου εργάζεται και στο Λονδίνο από το 2002 στον τομέα της αισθητικής χειρουργικής, με ειδικότερο ενδιαφέρον στις επεμβάσεις προσώπου (χειρουργικές και μη), στήθους, καθώς και στις τεχνικές Laser με όλες τις πρόσφατες μη επεμβατικές τεχνολογίες για την ανανέωση του προσώπoυ και την αποτρίχωση, όπως το Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), το Soprano ICE Laser Alexandrite, καθώς και το Radio-Frequency (RF). Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι διαθέτει τεράστια εμπειρία στην εφαρμογή της κρυολιπόλυσης, με ανάπτυξη προσωπικής τεχνικής για την κρυολιπόλυση 3D, την οποία και έχει παρουσιάσει σε παγκόσμια συνέδρια.

Έχει δημοσιεύσει επιστημονικές μελέτες σε όλα τα έγκυρα επιστημονικά περιοδικά της ειδικότητάς της, καθώς και στο Year Book of Surgery, κατόπιν πρόσκλησης. Έχει ως τώρα 60 επιστημονικές παρουσιάσεις σε διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια και ενημερώνεται διαρκώς για το επιστημονικό της αντικείμενο, με συμμετοχές σε διεθνή μεταπτυχιακά σεμινάρια και προγράμματα.

Η Δρ. Βίλλυ Ροδοπούλου είναι, μεταξύ άλλων, μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών και του Βρετανικού Ιατρικού Συμβουλίου, της Ελληνικής και Διεθνούς Εταιρίας Πλαστικής, Επανορθωτικής και Αισθητικής Χειρουργικής (IPRAS), της Διεθνούς Εταιρείας Αισθητικής Πλαστικής Χειρουργικής (ΙSAPS), της Αμερικανικής Εταιρείας Πλαστικών Χειρουργών (American Society of Plastic Surgeons), της Ελληνικής Εταιρίας Μελανώματος και της Ελληνικής Χειρουργικής Εταιρίας Μαστού. Το καλοκαίρι του 2011 η Δρ. Βίλλυ Ροδοπούλου συμμετείχε σαν instructor στο συνέδριο πλαστικής χειρουργικής στην Κω με θέμα τα ενέσιμα.
