What medicine and sweet surrender we felt as we circled, danced, laughed, wept. Thank you my soul sisters .to.the.temple , for weaving and creating a safe and sacred space for our journey into the longest night. Collaborating in this way woke my soul and fed my heart. Thank you to every participant for your beautiful presence. My dreams were filled with our collective field of release and possibility.

You are invited to join us on Dec 20th, 1-5 pm, in Edmonton, AB, for an event that will help you to move through the darkest night of the year with intention and presence. It will be a blessing to be witnessed and seen as you release the year that has passed, and to embrace the gentle magic that welcoming in the new light of a new year will bring.

The long dark has a way of slowing the body, softening the mind, and making space for the truths you’ve been carrying quietly in the background.

This gathering is a way to step into that stillness with intention.

We’ll begin in circle, facilitated by Waymatea Ellis, easing into ceremony and grounding ourselves in the energy of the season.

Annie Hunting will guide you through an intention-setting ritual to welcome the slow return of light.

There will be space to reflect, to write, and to name what you’re ready to release into the dark.

From there, Krista Mendez will move us into an ecstatic dance journey, letting the body speak in ways the mind can’t.
Nothing choreographed, nothing forced. Just movement, breath, and presence.

After the dance, we’ll land together with a gentle integration.

Light refreshments will be offered, and each attendee will receive a small gift to carry the energy of the Solstice forward.

What to Bring:
• Water bottle
• Journal and pen
• Yoga mat or blanket
• Comfortable layers you can move in
• An open heart and a willingness to soften

When over 20 years pass and you’ve lost touch with a kindred spirit, life feels so much sweeter the day you get to hug her again. Amazingly, we both kept this photo for all these years, so we would always remember to laugh so hard we couldn’t breathe. Love you ❤️❤️❤️
