We understand injuries and pain from a medical ailment can be a setback. A setback to life in general. As a New Generation of progressive and invested professionals, we hope to shift your state of mind and nurture an environment for progress. Each patient will have a tailored treatment plan to maximize function and reduce pain. Every patient will have a thorough evaluation, in which the therapist will review any available physician notes, imaging, physical exam findings. We account for your values, goals, work tasks, and finances. Then we educate on lifestyle behaviors to prevent a recurrence of injury.

🌺 October is National Physical Therapy Month! 🌿

This month, we celebrate the dedication, compassion, and expertise of our physical therapists — especially those who left Guam to gain experience and chose to return home to care for their island community. 🇬🇺💪

Meet Jeno Aquino, proudly born and raised on Guam! After earning his undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of Guam in 2020, Jeno spent a gap year working as a PT aide starting at NEWGEN, where he got his first hands-on experience in this field. He then began his pursuit of his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and graduated in 2024. During his studies, he completed clinical rotations in Utah (outpatient orthopedic) and Las Vegas (hospital, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings.) After graduation, Jeno returned to Guam and has been working as an Acute Care Physical Therapist for a little over a year at the Guam Regional Medical City. 🌺🥼

Your journey, Jeno, reflects resilience, passion, and a deep love for your island. Si Yu’os Ma’åse’ and thank you for all that you do! 🙌

This month, we celebrate the heart, compassion, and dedication of our physical therapists — especially those who have chosen to serve our island and give back to the community that raised them. 💙💪

Meet Lillian Troy from Barrigada! Lillian completed her Bachelor’s in Health Science, Pre-Physical Therapy at the University of Guam, where her passion for helping others began. With her heart set on staying close to home, she chose to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through Hawaii Pacific University’s hybrid program, allowing her to remain on island while studying.

Lillian completed her clinical hours at Concentra Physical Therapy, Guam Regional Medical City, and SOAR Physical Therapy. After her graduation this December, she plans to begin her PT journey with the pediatric population at Newgen Physical Therapy, where she hopes to make a lasting impact on Guam’s children and families. 🌈✨

Your journey is a beautiful reflection of compassion, dedication, and deep love for Guam. Thank you, Lillian, for choosing to serve your island home. 🙌🌺

Meet Gionn Buenavides from Dededo! Gionn left the island at the age of 19 to join the Navy and after several years of serving the country, he decided to follow his dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. He enrolled under Hawaii Pacific University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and completed his clinical hours at the Guam Regional Medical City and Newgen Physical Therapy. After his graduation this December, Gionn will continue his PT journey back home at Newgen. 🌺🥼
