Over the past week, the National AIDS Programme Secretariat (NAPS) engaged staff at several health centres in Stigma and Discrimination Sensitization Sessions. These sessions reinforced the importance of maintaining confidentiality, demonstrating empathy, and fostering non-discriminatory attitudes toward all persons accessing services.

We extend special thanks to the dedicated staff of Dorothy Bailey Health Centre, East La Penitence Health Centre, and Campbellville Health Centre for their active participation and commitment to providing respectful, client-centered care.

The National AIDS Programme Secretariat (NAPS) took the message of prevention and care into our communities with outreaches offering FREE HIV/STI testing, HIV self-testing kits, condoms, and lubricants.

Health is Wealth — Knowing Your Status is Key.

PrEP = HIV prevention 💊

PrEP is for HIV-negative persons who may be at risk. When taken daily and correctly, it greatly reduces the chance of getting HIV.
PrEP is for anyone who wants to protect themselves. This includes:

•Persons with a partner living with HIV

•Men who have s*x with men (MSM)

•Sex workers

•Persons with multiple s*xual partners

•Persons who do not always use condoms

•Transgender persons

•Persons who inject drugs or share needles

•Anyone who feels they may be at risk of HIV exposure

👉 PrEP is about protecting yourself, not labels.
If you are HIV-negative and at risk, PrEP may be right for you.
