PIAF Teacher Introduction 💫 Jennifer •
Jennifer first discovered aerial yoga out of personal interest, which sparked her yoga journey. Later, she suffered an ischemic stroke due to congenital vascular stenosis, resulting in complete paralysis on the right side of her body. With the support of physical therapy, she relearned how to stand and began her yoga training from scratch. She was then fortunate to discover Pilates, which helped her deeply understand the importance of awakening body awareness and how proper posture adjustment and body stabilization can lead to more effective and efficient movement.
Jennifer firmly believes that true health has no shortcuts. It requires patience, consistent self-observation, and listening to the body to gradually restore strength and well-being. In her teaching, she hopes to share this patient process of repairing and regulating both body and mind. She especially enjoys focusing on fundamental principles, particularly in beginner classes, and guiding students on how to apply these concepts into their practice and daily life, helping everyone strengthen their connection with their own bodies.
