What is belly binding? 🤱

Postpartum belly binding is a traditional practice of wrapping a long, sturdy cloth around the abdomen and hips to provide support, stability and comfort after childbirth. Massage therapist Starry pairs it with a relaxing postnatal massage, which many new mums find supportive for their overall wellbeing. Some of the benefits of belly binding may include: �

Charlottie is a physiotherapist specializing in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Physiotherapy from Curtin University and has experience in hospital settings.

As a volleyball player, Charlottie understands the recovery process and utilizes techniques such as manual therapy and acupuncture. She believes in a patient-centred approach, providing personalised care tailored to each person’s needs, goals, and stage of recovery.
