We are grateful to the British Consulate-General Hong Kong for inviting us to be part of their Inclusion Week! 🌏 ✨
Together with their friendly and engaging colleagues, we had an interactive workshop filled with activities, reflection, and laughter. Their openness made the learning experience especially meaningful.
Rather than taking an old-fashioned approach to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), we explored it from a psychological perspective — understanding how human beings think and behave:
🔹How stereotyping and labelling are naturally formed
🔹Why labelling itself isn’t the problem
🔹Most importantly — how to manage labels so they bring people together rather than drive them apart
One key insight we shared:
💡 The labels we use can either separate us or help us build bridges. By reframing our perceptions, we can foster dignity, respect, and inclusion in the workplace.
We are also thankful to our trainer Jack Ho for guiding the workshop with great energy and insights, making the session engaging and impactful.
A heartfelt thank you to BCGHK for their trust and to their wonderful colleagues for their warmth and active participation. It was truly a happy and inspiring session.
