瑜伽,真的需要核心肌群 (Core)嗎?

需要?還是不需要?😂

很多人一聽到「肌力」,想到的都是「力量」。
但其實,肌力還有其他層面——例如耐力與氣血循環。

打個比喻會更清楚:
• 肌肉的爆發力,就像短跑比賽——一瞬間的全力。
• 肌肉的耐力,則像長跑——需要穩定、連續的推進力。
• 而肌肉的氣血流動,就像障礙賽——需要靈活的技巧與調節。

瑜伽所需的力量,大多是後面兩者。
在流動性強的體式裡,沒有穩定的耐力,動作就難以順暢;
在靜態的體式中,要維持關節的細膩穩定,則仰賴氣的靈活穿行。

所以,即使從肌肉不同面向的力量來看,自由流動的瑜伽,也始於並扎根於一個穩定的核心。

我們的 Core Yoga 課程,除了融合基本的瑜伽體式,還加入了能強化身體協調與控制的練習。
對初學者來說,也許一開始會有點挑戰;
但隨著持續練習、養成肌肉記憶,你會發現——你的身體會逐漸變得更穩、更協調,也更自在。

Does yoga actually require core strength? 🧘‍♂️
Is it a ”yes“ or a ”no“? 😂

When most people hear the word ”strength,“ they immediately think of raw power. But strength has many layers—including endurance and the circulation of energy (Qi). 🌀

To put it simply:
• Explosive power is like a sprint—all-out effort in a single moment.
• Muscle endurance is like a long-distance run—steady, continuous propulsion.
• Flow of energy (Qi) is like an obstacle course—requiring agility, skill, and mindful adjustment.

The strength we need for yoga mostly falls into the latter two. In dynamic flows, without stable endurance, your movements won‘t be smooth. In static poses, maintaining delicate stability in your joints relies on the fluid movement of ”Qi.“

Even when looking at the different facets of physical strength, a free-flowing yoga practice always begins and takes root in a stable center.

Our Core Yoga classes do more than just follow traditional asanas; we integrate specific exercises to enhance your body’s coordination and control. For beginners, it might feel like a bit of a core workout challenge at first!

But as you stay consistent and build that muscle memory, you’ll discover your body becoming steadier, more coordinated, and more at ease. ✨

春分,又來到這「平衡」的時節。

春分與秋分,是地球上特別有意思的時刻——
日與夜的時間恰好各佔一半,陰陽平分,明暗共存。

這是因為地球在軌道上運行至某個特殊的位置,
此時萬物靜中有動、動中帶靜。
而在春分之後,日照時間將漸漸延長,直至夏至。

無論是瑜伽、氣功,還是靜坐修行,
我們追求的,其實都是這份「平衡」——
不偏不倚,不剛不柔。

在這個春分時節,
不妨於練習之中靜靜觀察、細細體會——
大地的平衡,也映照著內在的和諧。 🌱

Vernal Equinox — the season of balance has arrived once again.

The Spring and Autumn Equinoxes mark fascinating moments on Earth — when day and night stand in perfect harmony, yin and yang evenly divided, light and shadow coexisting.

This balance occurs as the Earth moves to a unique point in its orbit, where stillness meets motion, and motion arises within stillness. After the Spring Equinox, daylight gradually lengthens until the Summer Solstice.

Whether through yoga, qigong, or meditation, what we are seeking is always this state of balance — neither too much nor too little, both steady and supple.

During this equinox season, take a moment in your practice to quietly observe and feel — the balance of the Earth, reflecting the harmony within. 🌱

老師:然後呢?
學生:她做錯事啊,我已經忍著沒發脾氣。
老師:那麼,你是不是「允許」自己因為別人的錯誤而生氣了呢?

如果你覺得自己的感受和健康更重要,不妨在合適的時候提醒自己:「我的感受,由我負責。」
把那份無意間「授權」出去的情緒主權,都收回來吧。

如果你也認為,自己的感受和健康比什麼都重要,記得在需要的時候告訴自己——
你,才是情緒的主人。

「對於任何事,要怎麼感受,由我自己決定。」

當然,當別人做了你不喜歡或不認同的事時,也可以選擇以謙遜、真誠的方式表達。
若只是憋著氣、什麼都不說,最後受苦的還是自己,而事情也不會因此變好。

瑜伽的練習,正是幫助我們打開心靈、創造內在空間,讓美好的事物自然流入生活。
所以,學會轉化習慣與念頭,是通往自在與平衡的重要一步哦。❤️

打坐可以消炎嗎?

「炎」其實可以理解為身體內累積的酸性物質。當這些物質超過一定程度時,身體某個部位就會開始出現疼痛。以關節為例,如果肩膀的關節發痛,動一下就痛,久而久之人就會避免活動這個部位,最後可能導致關節僵硬、活動受限。

那麼,為什麼酸性物質會在某些地方累積呢?

人體的能量與物質本應流動,這正是新陳代謝的核心原理——每個細胞都會隨時間被新的細胞取代。當這種流動受阻、循環變弱時,累積物就容易滯留在身體裡。

我們的打坐堂修習以滋養氣血為本,當氣血流通起來,代謝自然變得更活躍,體內的積聚物也能隨之排出。

因此,打坐確實能幫助身體恢復流暢運作,在這樣的過程中,有助於減輕「炎」的現象。

Can Meditation Reduce Inflammation?
”Inflammation“ often means acidic waste buildup in the body. When it reaches a threshold, pain kicks in—like in joints. Shoulder pain that worsens with movement? Over time, we avoid it, leading to stiffness and limited mobility.​

Why the Buildup Happens
Our body’s energy and matter should flow freely—that‘s metabolism at work, with cells constantly renewing. Blockages weaken circulation, trapping waste.​

How Our Meditation Helps
Our sessions nourish qi and blood for smooth flow. This boosts metabolism, flushing out buildup naturally. Science backs it: studies show meditation lowers inflammation markers like IL-6 and boosts immune genes without excess inflammation.

The Result
Yes, meditation restores fluid body function, easing ”inflammation“ along the way.​

初三赤口,傳統上比較容易引起爭執的日子,我們就趁今日討論一下「爭執」的相反狀態——「愛」

愛,不只是情感,它是生命運行的能量。
是什麼能量?
是一種「打開」(openness)的狀態。
當一個人的氣在流動,心是開的,
自然能感受、能連結、能共情。
這種流動,就是「愛」的樣子。

人活在「不夠愛」的狀態,就像身體功能有一個部分關機了,對周圍的人和事物感覺少了、冷漠了。

為什麼會不夠愛呢?
當思慮太多,心被念頭塞滿,
氣就被擠壓住、流不開。
氣一少,血就滯,
氣血不行,情感也會變淡。

《黃帝內經》說:
「思則心有所存,神有所歸,正氣留而不行,則氣結矣。」
意思是:想得太多,心被卡住,神氣不歸,正氣停滯。

久而久之,人會變得麻木,
對人、事物的感覺變弱,
甚至連「愛」都感受不到。

打坐靜觀,不是逃避,
是讓思緒安靜下來,讓氣重新流動。
當氣回來,心就打開;
當心打開,愛自然流出。
氣順、心清的人,
無論身在何處,
都活在天堂。

When we immerse ourselves in reading these classics, it feels as though a space quietly opens within body and mind—an indescribable kind of wonder.

天行健,君子以自強不息
地勢坤 ,君子以厚德載物

天體運行不斷,生生不息源源不絕;地納十方,有豐厚的德行載起萬事萬物。這是一個平衡的狀態,一動一靜,動靜有常。

而我們人體其實也可以順應宇宙的運行法則而達至更平衡的狀態!

「動」——生活保有衝勁熱誠,穩定地運動着我們的身心靈。
🤸🏻適量的身體運動讓血氣均勻流動、身體健康;
❤️心懷着對生命的熱誠,可以讓我們的心蓬勃活潑;
🧘🏻打坐、冥想,可以讓我們的精神,也就是靈,慢慢修正~

「靜」——豐厚我們的德行才能載起萬物。
🏗️ 在日常的大小選擇中,若能體現五德之美,使無形的品德化為具體的行動,便能築起德行的根基,從而承載並滋養萬物。

比如,「一諾千金」所展現的誠信之德,恰巧與順口開河形成鮮明對比。現實中,有德之商人始終堅守承諾,正因如此,才能築得起客人的長久信任,使經營穩健持久。這亦是「厚德載物」一個具體的寫照。

除了平時我們慣常的打坐養氣之外,也邀請大家將沒用的壞習慣除掉,卸甲輕裝上陣,馳騁翱翔天際!祝大家身心康泰!

The Year of the Horse goes faster than the Year of the Snake, with more apparent and bigger changes. When our energy is adequate or even abundant, balance comes more naturally, and we stride with ease upon our own path.

Think of the old tale: a spoonful of salt in a glass of water overwhelms it, yet the same spoonful in a pot of soup enriches the flavor. Cast into a swimming pool, it becomes almost nothing—absorbed, balanced, and forgotten.

So, beyond our daily practice of meditation and nurturing our vital energy, let us also ”release“ the weight of useless habits, , and step lightly into the journey ahead. May we ride freely across the skies, unburdened, radiant, and whole. Wishing you health, harmony, and joy in both body and spirit.

大部分學員可能最熟悉我們的常規團體課程——如核心Core、哈達Hatha、筋膜Fascia等——這些課程的主要收穫是透過深度伸展和強效力量訓練來改善身體狀態。
