About Lily

Lily teaches Hatha-Flow, Yin and Yang, and Mysore-style Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. She aspires to be helpful through her alignment and breath-based instructions and hands-on adjustments. Her approach to teaching is deliberatively non-dogmatic, allowing her to hold space for students to find and define their own, true, personal practice.

She also teaches pranayama and meditation, has led retreats in Bali, Saigon, Hoi An, Hanoi and Nha Trang, in Vietnam, and has taught classes and workshops in Stockholm, Macau, Southern France and Mumbai.

Lily trained with Yogaworks in Los Angeles. She is immeasurably grateful to have crossed paths with the teachings of Thay Thich Nhat Hanh, Alexander Medin, Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty, Lisa Walford, Yogasana, Yoga Mala and Yoga Shala West.

修道旨要 | 南懷瑾先生:你如果這樣做,身體馬上就輕鬆了,先試一分鐘再說

數息有個秘訣的,我把秘密也告訴你們了。我對你們都很慷慨地佈施,法佈施。學密宗不得了了,要你們磕多少頭,拿多少供養,還有多少條件,最後拖了一年半載才告訴你一句話。我不是這樣,我把所有的東西知識,完全拿來佈施,我能夠知道的,也是天下人的。過去祖師們留下來的,不幸讓我知道了,我很不客氣的一定把它公開。我一輩子是這樣一個觀念,道是天下人的公道,我不喜歡秘密留一手不傳人,我認為不道德。哪一個人說留一手,就算有不死的法門我也不要,因為你這個道德有問題了嘛!要注意學這個精神,道是天下人的公道,應該公佈天下,使人人得好處,那才是修道的目的了。

佛有個秘密的吩咐,當你要數息的時候,譬如鼻子氣進來出去數一,在你們的觀念裏,在哪個時候計數呢?人的貪心、私心多半在呼吸進來的時候計“一”,那是做氣功,不是修道。佛告訴你真正修道是數出息,注意出息,這個秘密重點我告訴你了。

佛講的秘密,大家看經典不注意,我就看出來了,當時對佛磕頭,你總算吩咐後代的人了;可是後代的人自己不修,那就沒有辦法了。修涅槃注意出息,出息怎麼數?當你數出息的時候,你把所有的一切,連自己的生命,一切煩惱、病痛,跟著出息放出去。尤其是感冒生病,或者身體裏頭生瘤、生癌啊,讓它一齊跟出息出去,出去就空了。你如果這樣數息,身體馬上就輕鬆了,先試一分鐘再說。

這不是講理論,自己試試看,不一定盤腿,任何姿勢都可以。呼吸本來有的嘛。你注意出息,思想跟著呼吸自然走,一切煩惱痛苦,一切病痛、業障,呼出去就沒有了。呼出去再進來的那個是乾淨的,到你裏面又變髒了,氧氣進來變碳氣,接著碳氣就呼出去了,一切病痛也沒有了。注意數出息,不是注意數入息。一般練氣功修道的,準備練工夫時,先吸一口氣閉起來,那不是找死嗎!練武功的更有這個毛病,我看到練少林工夫的也有這個毛病,最後氣還是要出去嘛。最後“嘿”一聲,氣出去了才發生力量。那些人就不懂了,拼命吸一口氣閉住。真正“空”的力量比“有”的力量大,如果你氣進來保持住,那就不好了。

練武功、練氣功的人,犯了一個錯誤,拼命注意入氣。過去氣功流行,常常有些練氣功的人問我:“老師啊,氣留丹田,怎麼留住啊?”我說:“你問我啊,我還正想問你呢!你看過汽車輪胎打氣沒有?你把輪胎打個氣進去,你叫那個打進去的氣,停留在輪胎的某一部分不要動,行嗎?”

氣進來一定充滿全身,硬要把它憋住在丹田,丹田是什麼?大腸。你把氣跟那個大便憋一起幹什麼?氣一進來就充滿全身嘛!出去也是全體跟宇宙合一的,你閉個什麼氣啊?越閉就結塊,會變成癌症的。叫氣停留在裏頭,氣可以停留的嗎?停留就變碳氣,就不行了。

所以你看練武功的,有時候跟人家真打的、拼命的時候,“嗨”的一聲!那個時候忘形忘身,無我的,空了,老子要你的命哎!要你死哎!那一聲打出來是爆破的,是空的。那個真空,發出的力量大得不得了,不可以抗拒的,這個原理懂了吧!

所以,佛吩咐我們,祖師們吩咐我們,要想容易得定,證得涅槃,注意呼氣,不是注意入氣。而且不要認為呼吸進來保持在哪里,才能健康體能好,那完全錯誤。

呼吸進來哪里停留得住!如果真停留住,就結塊了。所以《維摩詰經》上有一句話,“結習未盡”,你從這句話就可以悟進去,是結習難除,打結的。當你覺得身體哪里難過,哪一部分走不通,或者腿痛、胸口悶,實際上,氣已經結在那裏形成病了,你空不掉。如果你把氣放空了,念也就跟著空了。念和氣的關係,就有這樣重要。

很多人以為吸氣能充實生命,就練吸氣,真是愚不可及!真正的秘法正好相反,要舍,把它放出去。大乘道叫佈施,把自己的氣乃至生命給一切眾生。

你們有練瑜珈的,如果筋肉拉不開時,用呼氣的方法可以幫你伸展開來,你氣吸得愈飽,愈難伸展開來。氣跑到了腦子是最難放的,比下半身的氣還難放掉。能把腦中的氣放掉了,頭都空掉了,什麼智慧都發起了。真正的問題是在上面,不是在下面。下麵的問題都是假的,都是由上面來的。所以把頭砍掉就什麼問題都沒了。這不是笑話,佛陀教的白骨觀的修法,就有觀想把頭骨切掉,倒轉過來放進腹腔的空間中,如果你能觀得起來,什麼高血壓之類的,就都沒了。今天到此為止,去練習吧。
