視光師陳敏琪具備豐富經驗,持有香港理工大學(榮譽)視光學學士學位,並已在香港註冊為視光師(第一部分),及已修畢由香港理工大學舉辦的角膜矯型課程。2018年,她考取了英國隱形眼鏡協會學士(FBCLA)資格,全球只有少於300位視光師能成功考獲此資格。她現在為胡氏眼科視光診所的合夥人,同時擔任香港理工大學眼科視光學系臨床導師,指導及評核學生的實習過程,確保學生在畢業前逹到認可的專業水準。
2015年,陳敏琪加入香港眼科視光師學會並擔任委員,2017年轉任學會司庫。期間她籌組了多次社區的護眼篩檢及護眼講座,希望提升市民對護眼的意識及推廣眼科視光師的職能。
Manki Chan is a registered Optometrist (Part 1)
Manki graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) with a Bachelor of Optometry (Honours) degree in 2008 and completed her Graduate Certificate of Orthokeralogy Practice at HKPU in 2016. Manki joined The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists (HKSPO) as a councilor in 2015 and has been voted to be the Honorary Treasurer of HKSPO since 2017. She serves as a Visiting Clinical Mentor of the undergrad students of HKPU School of Optometry.
Manki has been practicing for over 10 years with particular interests and specialty in dry eye management and contact lenses fitting. In 2018, Manki is one of the 300 Optometrists across the globe who was awarded FBCLA which further reinforced her knowledge and clinical experience in contact lenses fitting.
To serve with heart and passion has always been the motto of Manki. With her extensive clinical experience and strong commitment to promoting primary eye care to the public, she has represented HKSPO to conduct different workshops and is often invited by commercial companies, HKSAR Government, statutory institutions, different schools and associations to share, among other things, information in relation to common eye diseases, dry eye problems and myopia control.
Manki has been invited by media like “MingPao”, “Sky Post”, “Hong Kong Economic Times “, “Oriental Daily News“, “Apply Daily” and “HK01” to share eyecare information.
